The 1808 will have an acrylic domed hard coated face, not glass.

will this kit work with a 6 in line AMC 258 CJ7 1984

Our gauges would be compatible with your engine, but you may have some challenges with this specific kit; your stock fuel level resistance will not match this gauge and you could have some challenges with the speedometer with regards to calibration if you’ve changed gearing or tire size. Thank you for your question. This exact kit does not come with a speedometer in KM/H. We do have a different five piece gauge kit in this series with a metric speedometer, which is model number 1809-M. We also have a metric speedometer available individually, which is model number 1887-M.

Good morning I have a clearance problem, you have the unit listed as 3 1/8 " what i need is the total diameter of the out side ring,. thank you.
Thank you for your question. The hole size is 3-1/8". The total diameter including the bezel is 3-5/16".

what is the difference between the 1808 series and the 1811 series?
Thank you for the question. The 1809 features all electric gauges and an electronic programmable speedometer. The 1811 features a mechanical speedometer as well as a mechanical oil pressure and water temp. There is also a 3rd option, model 1808, which features the mechanical speedometer, but all electric gauges.

do you have oil temp and a tach 4cyl, VW Bus both 2 and a 1/16 inch
We do not offer an oil temp in this series but one can be created in our custom shop. As for the tachometer we do offer P/N: 1897.
