National Account Sales Manager – Test Equipment

We are seeking a Sales Manager for our Test Equipment Division to join our team. Auto Meter Products prides itself in having a creative, professional, employee-focused work environment.

The Test Equipment Sales Manager Responsibilities will have direct responsibility to achieve sales objectives their assigned accounts. Ideal candidate must be proficient in developing positive customer relationships as well as successfully navigating complex organizational structures to close on programs and opportunities. Other responsibilities include interfacing with existing and new customers to drive growth, improve customer satisfaction and determine Test market product requirements. They will also participate in new product planning sessions in terms of recommending products that can expand our Test business. This position requires 50% travel nationally presenting and demonstrating programs and products.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in business. Must have 5+ years of related experience. Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, high integrity, and a proven track record of growing sales through positive relationships. Industry knowledge or battery systems expertise is helpful.

Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. Auto Meter Products prides itself in having a creative, professional, employee-focused work environment.

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. This position will also assist with qualifying prospective customers, identifying opportunities that warrant a direct meeting with Auto Meter Field Sales staff, and performing administrative sales support activities. Ideal candidate must be proficient in developing positive customer relationships. Position also requires attending trade shows and 10% travel.

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Candidate must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, high integrity, proficiency in spreadsheet analysis, and a proven track record of growing sales through positive relationships.

Electrical Process Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Transition new products from engineering to manufacturing environment.
  • Develop appropriate test methods, procedures, fixtures and test systems to ensure new products meet their performance requirements.
  • Design electrical/electronic circuits for manufacturing test equipment and fixtures.
  • Be responsible for the design, implementation and documentation of electrical/electronic fixtures and devices to aid with the manufacturing process.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and cross-functional teams in problem solving, investigations, etc.
  • Work with document control managing schematics, drawings, Bills of Material, Engineering Change Orders, etc.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing Kaizen events.
  • Identify, recommend and implement production process improvements.
  • Assist purchasing in specifying qualified electronic components.
  • Specify fixtures and perform programming for ICT of printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Write detailed test plans for new sensor/device qualification testing.

Qualifications

  • BSEE from a four year college or university. 
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment with purchasing, quality assurance, manufacturing and engineering personnel.
  • Communicate effectively in English, in both oral and written forms.
  • Must be knowledgeable in electrical and electronic engineering principles.
  • Must be able to use test equipment associated with the design and development of electronic systems.
  • Must be able to interpret and understand electronic component specifications.
  • Must possess excellent electronic circuit trouble shooting skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Must be a proven problem solver with technical decision making skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong background in surface mount and through-hole technology.
