National Account Sales Manager

Auto Meter Products, the leader in both automotive instrumentation and electrical system diagnostic testing & charging equipment, has an exciting new opportunity available. We are seeking a National Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. With over 60 years in business and a U.S. based world class IATF 16949 Certified operation, we continue to be a leader in the automotive marketplace

The National Account Sales Manager will have direct responsibility to achieve sales objectives in their assigned accounts. Ideal candidate must be proficient in developing positive customer relationships as well as successfully navigating complex organizational structures to close on programs and opportunities. Other responsibilities include interfacing with existing and new customers to drive growth, improve customer satisfaction and determine market product requirements. They will also participate in new product planning sessions that can result in the recommendation of new products that can expand our business. This position requires 50% travel nationally presenting and demonstrating programs and products. We take pride in having a creative, professional, employee-focused work environment.

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Must have 5+ years of related experience. Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, high integrity, and a proven track record of growing sales through positive relationships. Automotive performance industry knowledge is a plus.

Electrical Engineer

Key responsibilities and scope of work include:

  • Create circuit designs, schematics, bill of materials, and circuit layout.
  • Develop embedded firmware on ARM Processors (primarily Cortex-M).
  • Develop serial and wireless communication protocols.
  • Create technical specifications from functional requirements.
  • Collaborate and take ownership with other developers to improve software and hardware quality.
  • Collect and process sensor data for use in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Lead application engineering effort from planning architecture to execution and delivery.
  • Design and implement scalable software architectures for hardware platforms.

Position Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent (EE) degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, which includes developing on embedded ARM systems, implementation/utilization of debug tools, use of software version control in a team.
  • Fluency in C/C++/Java and other object oriented programming languages and Fluency in schematic capture software and PCB layout software.
  • Working knowledge of embedded software, operating systems, interrupt handling and communication drivers.
  • Experience with vehicle OBDII/CAN Technology (is a plus) and experience with embedded ARM RTOS (is a plus).
  • Windows software development (is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and are self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.
  • You are eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Buyer

Busy manufacturer seeks experienced Buyer/Planner to coordinate the planning and procurement of Injection Molded components, Electro Mechanical devices and corrugated. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a technically related field. 3-5 years exp. in Purchasing /Supply Chain in a high-volume manufacturing environment is required. Experience with International suppliers is required. Competence with MS Office software and ERP System is required. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving skills required.
