I am looking to replace the tach and speedo on a 1984 Yamaha, Can I use this guage for that purpose?
This unit is not advised for use on your Yamaha. It will not work properly in this application.

I am trying to replace the original clock on a 51 Chev, but I need to know the exact measurements to know if this will fit. Currently the outside diameter of the housing is 3 1/8" but the inside diameter of the body is only 2 5/16". Will this fit?
Thank you for your question. The 3-1/8” tachometers fit into a 3-1/8” diameter hole. The OD on the bezel/trim ring is 3-3/8”.

Will this tach work with my pertronics ignition ?
Thank you for your question. Yes, that tach should work with your ignition system but you may need the 9116 tach filter because sometimes this ignition has noise issues.

can you get a mechanical or gps speedo and other gauges to match #1898 ?
You can make any of our electronic speedometers into a GPS unit using P/N: 5289. You will also want to match this gauge with all of our Antique Beige series.

Can the in dash 1898 antique biege tach be mounted in a pedestal mount? I have auto meter gauges but no room for an in dash mount and would like them to match.

Sir Can your Tach 1897 antique beige be used on a first gen. Cummins engine ???? This Tach is 0-7000 rpm and before opening, is the wiring diagram included for a diesel ? Thank you in advance Rog

Thank you for your question. You will need to utilize our P/N: 9112 diesel tach adapter in order to use this gauge with your vehicle. The adapter will come with instructions as well.
