Tach signal adapter
As with most swaps that I have been involved with, the tach signal from the computer is corrupt and the signal is lost, with the plug and play set up that I ordered is the greatest thing (NO CUTTING AND SPICING) just unplug the coil pack for each bank and plug in the adapter harness and mounted the adapter on the firewall and run the tach wire to the tach, little square box on upper pass side firewall look close to see

Super simple
Exactly how it is advertised. Comes with everything. Plug and play all I had to do is solder one wire for my power safe nitrous gauge so it could read rpm for the widow switch feature.
Also customer support was 10/10 straight to the point and knew exactly what I needed to get my system working and if anything else I had would interfere with it.

#9123 didn't work for me
I purchase a #9123 harness and adaptor to power my #2300 tech on a LS3 swap.
It didn't help and I weasted a lot of money on it. It looked very impressive.
A very easy harness to install.

LS Tach Signal Adapter
I reviewed the data involving clean LS1 ecm tach signals. The resistor fixes are a carnival of tricks that will burn more of your nerves than pulling that $170 from your wallet.

QUESTIONS:
i have the American Muscle 5" tach. Do I need the 9123 with a 2005 LS2 out of a 2005 Corvette. Original harness.
If you could, send our tech team an email at service@autometer.com.

Do all LS engines need the 9123 signal adapter to use your tach ?? I have an Ls2 from a 2005 corvette.
Typically our 9117/9123 would be needed for such distributor less ignitions like an LS Motor to produce a tach signal for our tachometers. If you take a look at 5284, it would have an instructions manual for LS Motors with more information on incorporating a 10k Watt Resistor, and if necessary, the 9117.

Will this work on a x100 tach (hood tach on a 67 GTO) ? This car doesn't have the normal x1000 tach like most vehicles do.
Thank you for your question. This will not be compatible.

I own a holden ssv commodore with the L98 engine wanting to know if this would work upon installing the pro comp2 monster tacho?
if you still have the coils mounted in original position it will work, you'll probably need to install the resistor that comes with it

Hi I’m run a GlowShift tachometer on my Ls1 swap I need to us tach adapter 9117 or just the plug and play harness
the adaptor you need the harness, you WILL want, cutting and splicing the car's engine harness is a royal pain

Will this adaptor work on a 4.3 LV3 engine 2015 model GEN 5 with a stand alone harness
Thank you for your question. This adapter is made specifically to be plug and play with LS engines. We have never tested it with your application so we cannot confirm compatibility. I would recommend instead getting the 9117 tach adapter that does not include the plug and play harness as it will be compatible on this setup.
