QUESTIONS:
I recently purchased the auto gauge 2 5/8" vacuum gauge. For some reason the light that came with it just does not work. I think it may be the fact that there is no ground on socket. Will this by chance fit in an auto gauge #2317
This socket assembly will not fit your 2317. You will need to ground the gauge itself to complete the circuit for the included 1 wire light assembly.

I have a Phantom water temp gauge and due to vibration the light bulb bracket broke. I need to replace this but which pigtail bulb attachment do I need?
If you have the older model with the metal back, you might need the 3211 (Snap-In) but if you have a newer model, you would need the 3220. Make sure on the back of the gauge, and if you have the plastic pigtail, try and see if it is the twist in or snap in.

what bulb and socket assembly is used with the 3421 gauge?
This 3211 would be the correct bulb and socket if your 3421 is the older version with a metal case/cup. The current 3421 models (since around 2005) have a plastic case/cup and use the 3220 socket.
