Questions

My pro-comp gauges (two) both use the bayonet style bulbs with the rubber grommet for the socket, want to replace them with the new style 3211 sockets. will these fit if I remove the grommet ?

Asked by: Mopar
Hi there, thank you for connecting with us. As you've likely discovered, we changed the Liquid Filled Gauges several years ago and no longer offer the bayonet style light that plugged into the rubber grommet. You can remove that grommet, but unfortunately, the hole is too small to accept the 3211 Socket. Ultimately, it's not something we would advise, but you can very carefully remove that half moon shaped back plate and enlarge the hole to 5/8" which will then accept the 3211 Socket.

does the 3211 fit into a 5/8" hole in the back of a gauge?

Asked by: Charlie
Thank you so much for contacting us. The 3211 is indeed designed for a 5/8" hole. Hope this helps!
