Hello! Would you be able to use a shift light with this tach?

Asked by: Hrodz
Thank you for your question. This tach does not have a shift light output you could connect a shift light to, but you could run this tach alongside a standalone shift light such as #5343. Another alternative to run alongside this tach is our #5312 Shift Light controller, which can be used to supply a tach signal and shift points to any of our shift lights.

What do I need to make this work on a 12cyl Jaguar with electronic ignition?

Asked by: J.Timothy
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately the 2677 cannot calibrate properly beyond 8 cylinders, and will not work on your Jaguar.

Is this mechanical?

Asked by: Jay Mack
Hi Jay, thank you so much for contacting us. This tach, like every tach we manufacture, is electrical and connects to the vehicle's ignition system. AutoMeter was founded on the invention of the electronic tach back in 1957 and has never offered a fully mechanical driven unit. Hope this helps!
