Martin, You will want to use either P/N: 5291 or P/N: 5293 in order to send a proper signal to the speedometer.Date published: 2020-05-13
Does this or any other speedometer of this size come with integrated signal light indicator? Same for the Tach. Our speedometers do not have a signal light indicator.Date published: 2020-04-22
hello, do you have this meter with gps sensor? I cannot connect the meter to the gearboxHi Anthony, We don't offer an American Muscle 3-3/8" speedometer in a GPS version. You may, however, use this speedometer in conjunction with our 5289 GPS Interface to achieve your goal: https://www.autometer.com/universal-gps-speedometer-interface-module.html Thanks, JimDate published: 2020-04-13
Hello. Is the color of this model different from the color of model #1288 or the same? (they colors is different on photo)Thank you for your question. They are the exact same color. I apologize if the is a discrepancy in the images.Date published: 2019-11-05
i have a vw beetle 1974 i will like to know if your speedometer will fit my car or another speedometer.Thank you for your question. None of our gauges are made to be factory replacements or fit OEM dash holes. This gauge will fit in a 3-3/8" hole. All the sizes on our website refer to the hole size the gauges fit in. If you can verify the size of the hole you have, we can let you know if our gauges will fit.Date published: 2019-07-26
I see the suggested calibration distance is 2 miles, what happens if the distance driven is greater than 2 miles?Thank you for your question. If you drive more than two miles, the accuracy of your speedometer will be affected.Date published: 2019-07-12
will this gauge work with a GPS sender unitThank you for your inquiry. All of our electric speedometers will work with our 5289 GPS Interface: https://www.autometer.com/universal-gps-speedometer-interface-module.htmlDate published: 2019-07-02
Is this meter calibrated for 2 miles? Is it 2 km? If I do it in miles, I feel that the speed display is different.Thank you for your question. You are correct and that is an error in the instructions we will address. For it to properly display speed in KMH you will need to calibrate via a 2km drive not a 2 mile drive. I apologize for the confusion.Date published: 2019-03-28
