Some Retailers claim this tach will work on 6V or 12V. Others claim 12V or 16V. What is the truth? I need to use it in a 1955 Ford Thunderbird which still has the original 6V Positive-Ground system. Will the Auto Meter 88088 tach work in my car? Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. 880088 is compatible with 12v and 16v applications. Unfortunately, it will not work in your application.Date published: 2018-09-17
Hi Joseph. Thanks for the reply. I will wait for the cup to be available so I can ensure it will look right in my coupe. Will they appear on the website soon?, are any pictures available yet?Hi Lyall, they will be up on the website as soon as they are available. As of this moment in time, I unfortunately don't have an exact date for you. Hi. Do you have this in a pedestal mount? Or can you get a kit to mount itHi Lyall, thank you so much for contacting us. While there is not presently a pedestal mount available for this tach, there will be options available earlier on in 2018. There will be both a chrome and a black finish 3-1/8" Pedestal Mount Cup for AutoMeter tachs, part number 2153 and 2154 respectively. Hope this helps!Date published: 2017-12-15
