Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Impressed Great idea, poor execution. The instructions even say to cut off some of the stud from the gauge, and I wish I would have known this before buying this pod. Being friction fit is great however, makes installation a little bit easier. The fact that the pod is not long enough, though, is not great. While it works, the gauge is still sticking out of the housing by about 1/4". I don't want to cut too many of the threads off for possible future use. I do like it better than the A-pillar mount, but just wish that more time would have been taken to confirm that gauges will fit without having to cut too many of the threads off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fit and finish needs work I purchased the steering column gauge holder to keep my truck looking factory. The depth of the gauge area is too small. I had to bend down the electrical connections for the gauge to fit, and I still had 1/8" visible from the side. The other issue is the shifter hold. The shifter hits the pod mount and loosens it when I shift into the park. Granted, I have not drilled and mounted, thankfully. I will permanently mount the poid once I trim the hole to accommodate the shifter. I thought ordering a quality gauge like an Autometer would get me a quality mount, but that's not the case.
