QUESTIONS:
Is there a mounting cup that will work for this tach?
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately this tach is only designed to be mounted in dash. We do not make a cup to fit this gauge.

I am interested in this gauge package for a Charger restomod. I am running a new 6.4l Hemi. I have used your gauges in the past on a 6.1l Hemi and had to splice in to each coil wire for the tachometer. Is that still the case for a modern conversion? Thank
Thank you for your question. That is correct the same would apply as that would be the only proper way to obtain a tach signal.

Can a dash top shift light work with a American Muscle Tachometer ?
Thank you for your inquiry. The 1299 has no circuitry to support a shift light. That said, if you are planning to use one of our self-contained DPSS shift lights, you can certainly share the same power, ground, and tach signal wires for both units.

Are their any additional components required to wire the 5" American Muscle 1299 tach to a MSD digital 6al box?
Thank you for your question. As long as your MSD box has a tach output, you will not need any additional parts. Just run the tach signal wire directly to the output from the MSD box.
