Does this fit in peterbilt 379 year 2000

Asked by: Tony1977
Thank you for your question. None of our gauges are vehicle specific and are not made to fit OEM dash holes. This gauge will fit in a 3-1/8" hole, if the hole in your dash is that size, you can certainly put this there.

Will this install into a 1991 Humvee?

Thank you for your question. None of our gauges are vehicle specific. This speedometer fits in a 3-3/8" hole and accepts a 5/8" x 18 thread speedometer cable. If that works for your application, then you can certainly use this speedometer.

Is this gauge water resistant?

Asked by: Cire
Hello Cire, thank you for the question. Our mechanical speedometers are not water resistant. The only speedometers that would provide some water resistance from the face only would be in our Pro-Cycle motorcycle line, which are electronic, and in our Marine line, which offers a GPS option that would work in an application besides marine.

I am wanting to install this gauge on a 1978 Ford Bronco with a dash panel from Classic Dash. The OEM cable has a clip that holds the cable to the stock gauge. Will my OEM cable work on this gauge or do I have to get a custom made cable?

Asked by: Bobbitchen
Thank you so much for contacting us. Our mechanical speedometers use a 5/8" threaded input and read 60 MPH at 1,000 RPM. You will likely need a different cable and perhaps some adjustment gears for calibration. We highly recommend Speedometer Services out of Milwaukee for both. We've worked with them for many, many years and they provide an awesome quality product at very reasonable pricing. you can reach them at 414.463.6660. Hope this helps!
