DESCRIPTION:

Keeping track of the vacuum and boost on your forced induction application is critical for extracting the most power safely while keeping your engine in the powerband. AutoMeter’s Digital Stepper Motor Boost/Vacuum Gauges provide the most accurate eadings available, unparalleled response time and smooth needle movement. Taking advantage of AutoMeter’s advanced circuitry, these gauges automatically calibrate on every startup to compensate for altitude, barometric pressure and other atmospheric conditions. Includes an advanced MAP sensor and wiring harness for ease of installation. Designed for gasoline engines, a boost only version is also available for diesel or extreme boost applications.
Feature Points
  • Traditional incandescent lighting illuminates around the perimeter of the dial

QUESTIONS:

Hello! I´m looking for a metric boost / vac gauge (up to 2 bar) with output for data logging. Would prefere carbon or Cobalt look. Is that something you can provide? Also would need AFR compatible with gas / ethanol, pyrometer and engine oil temp

Asked by: Adam
Hi Adam, thank you so much for contacting us. I'm sorry to say that we unfortunately do not offer a boost/vac gauge with a data logging output in either metric or imperial scale. The real time atmospheric calibration method we use makes for a dynamic scale which is not something that can be conventionally logged. We use a different method for logging vacuum with our data acquisition systems and measure pressure as a separate channel. With that said, you can tee onto the purple wire on a boost pressure only gauge and log that. While it wouldn't be metric scale on the gauge face, this Cobalt would do what you need it to: http://www.autometer.com/2-boost-0-30-psi-fse-cobalt.html This will read 0.5v at 0psi and 4.5v at 30psi. You will run into the similar issues trying to log temperatures with a gauge; it may be worthwhile to check out one of our data acquisition displays to really capture everything you need properly. Finally, all of our AFR gauges will be very easy to log as they all feature a linear (and in some instances programmable) data output. Hope this helps!
