QUESTIONS:

Hi, I bought the fuel guage 2642 for my Jeep Scrambler and it reads backwards , so will the 2652 work for an 86 Scrambler as it’s also 73ohms empty and 10ohms full , but a linear guage it’s saying, where 2642 is a non-linear

Asked by: Ted46
Thank you for your question. No, 2652 will not work. It is linear so it will still read the same direction with 73ohms empty and 10 ohms full. Your sending unit may be 0-90 which would read backwards on a 73-10 gauge. If not, you will need a #2656 programmable fuel level gauge.

Hello I was wondering if this would work in a 1980 Toyota pickup?

Asked by: yotalife
Thank you for contacting us. It's important to know that none of our round gauges are necessarily vehicle specific or a direct OEM replacement. We won't necessarily have something specifically as a direct replacement for your Toyota, but our programmable gauge can be programmed to the Toyota sender resistance using the custom calibration. Here is the programmable model in Z-Series: https://www.autometer.com/2-1-16-fuel-level-programmable-0-280-z-series.html
