Pre-terminated and color coded with detailed installation instructions, this product provides everything you need to wire a standard 5 or 6 instrument set, including turn signal and high beam LEDs!

- Accomodates 5 or 6 gauge installations consisting of any AutoMeter In-Dash Tachometer, Speedometer, and four short sweep electric, air-core gauges (Fuel Level, Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, and Voltmeter)
- Color coded and pre-terminated for simpified installation.
- Includes: Main Wire Harness (gauge side and vehicle side with pre-terminated multi-pin separation connectors), Lighting Ground Wire Harness, 8 butt connectors, 8 crimp connectors, 2 green turn signal LEDs, 1 amber high beam LED, 1 red brake or check engine LED.

Gauges work and look much better than expected.
Love these gauges. Definitely order the wiring harness. It made a two day project into a 12 hour day. I would also suggest getting a LabelMaker. Label all your wires before you cut them from your existing harness.
I also ordered a Classic Dash to house my new gauges. It’s pretty much plug-and-play. I have a 69 Camaro and had a trim some of my dash pad.
I did not use the LED indicator lights that were included with the wiring harness. I ordered much nicer LED indicators from Amazon.

Nice gauge wire harness!
I bought this wire harness for a 1933 Chevy 3 window coupe hot rod to go with the 6 pc. gauge stainless steel engine turned dash insert from Phoenix Machine. It looks really sharp! It would have been nice if Autometer had offered a 6 pc. gauge set like #1340 5 pc. set and included #1390 tach with it. Also it would have been nice if they had offered the #2198 wire harness as an option for the kit as well since I had to buy this separately and I wanted the wiring to be cleaner, easier, and more integrated.

I really didn't need to replace my gauge wiring, but this kit let me eliminate a lot of extra wires under my dash and made it very easy to hook up the gauges plus it gives me just one plug to use if I ever need to remove the instrument panel

Saves a ton of headache
Bought a six guage setup for my car...went to begin installing it and found I would have to make a harness. Went back online and the plug in harness. Wish someone told me when I purchased my guages.
