GAUGE WIRE HARNESS, UNIVERSAL, FOR TACH/SPEEDO/ELEC. GAUGES, INCL. LED INDICATORS is rated out of 5 by 4.Rated 5 out of 5 by BobbyOD from Gauges work and look much better than expected. Love these gauges. Definitely order the wiring harness. It made a two day project into a 12 hour day. I would also suggest getting a LabelMaker. Label all your wires before you cut them from your existing harness. I also ordered a Classic Dash to house my new gauges. It’s pretty much plug-and-play. I have a 69 Camaro and had a trim some of my dash pad. I did not use the LED indicator lights that were included with the wiring harness. I ordered much nicer LED indicators from Amazon.Date published: 2018-01-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Joker from Amazing This make it so much easier to install the gauges in the dashDate published: 2018-12-05Rated 5 out of 5 by N/A. is this wire 18 or 20 gauge ? terryIf I had to guess I'd say 20.Date published: 2020-02-04
How long are the wires are they long enough that I won't have any splicesDepends on where your mounting the gauges at and how you've got the wires ran. For the most part they reached to the top of my a-pillar.Date published: 2019-09-18
Are these made in USA?All indications show produce mad in USA. No labels on wiring or instruction to say made in China. This wiring kit is a big help and timesaver with installing a dash cluster!Date published: 2019-04-18
I purchased a mechanical Jeep speedometer and and want to ensure I can use this harness to light up the led lights in same?Yes you canDate published: 2019-01-19
I have all electrical guages(water, volts, oil, and tach) but i have a mechanical speedometer. Will this harness still work for that application? They are all the Z-series.Thank you so much for your question. This harness will absolutely still work with your gauge package, you simply won't end up using the main wiring connector for the mechanical speedometer. Everything else will be used though. Hope this helps!Date published: 2019-01-19
Hello, I ordernd the gauge Instruments for my Jeep YJ 92 a year ago. Does the connector fit from my Jeep to this Harness? Thank you in advanceHi Ray, thank for you reaching out to us. If you have the AutoMeter Jeep gauges, the 2198 Harness will adapt to the gauges, but the harness is not a direct fit or connection to the original Jeep harness.Date published: 2018-05-07
