GAUGE WIRE HARNESS, UNIVERSAL, FOR TACH/SPEEDO/ELEC. GAUGES, INCL. LED INDICATORS is rated out of 5 by 4.Rated 5 out of 5 by BobbyOD from Gauges work and look much better than expected. Love these gauges. Definitely order the wiring harness. It made a two day project into a 12 hour day. I would also suggest getting a LabelMaker. Label all your wires before you cut them from your existing harness. I also ordered a Classic Dash to house my new gauges. It’s pretty much plug-and-play. I have a 69 Camaro and had a trim some of my dash pad. I did not use the LED indicator lights that were included with the wiring harness. I ordered much nicer LED indicators from Amazon.Date published: 2018-01-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Joker from Amazing This make it so much easier to install the gauges in the dashDate published: 2018-12-05Rated 5 out of 5 by N/A. I purchased a mechanical Jeep speedometer and and want to ensure I can use this harness to light up the led lights in same?Yes you canDate published: 2019-01-19
I have all electrical guages(water, volts, oil, and tach) but i have a mechanical speedometer. Will this harness still work for that application? They are all the Z-series.Thank you so much for your question. This harness will absolutely still work with your gauge package, you simply won't end up using the main wiring connector for the mechanical speedometer. Everything else will be used though. Hope this helps!Date published: 2019-01-19
Hello, I ordernd the gauge Instruments for my Jeep YJ 92 a year ago. Does the connector fit from my Jeep to this Harness? Thank you in advanceHi Ray, thank for you reaching out to us. If you have the AutoMeter Jeep gauges, the 2198 Harness will adapt to the gauges, but the harness is not a direct fit or connection to the original Jeep harness.Date published: 2018-05-07
will this harness kit work with kit # 1302im using the 1390 tachDate published: 2019-01-19
Are the turn signal indicator lights and hi lo beam indicator light included? I am using part 2142 new dash panelYes they are although I recommend getting bigger led’s. The one with the kit are only about 1/8” in diameter. Any led would work. Date published: 2019-01-19
what wiring harness do you recommend for the tach / speedo combo gauge and also to wire in the 4 other gauges (oil temp volt fuel) ? thanksHi Kevin, thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not offer a wiring harness for applications outside of the most common 5/6 gauge setup (this one to be specific). You might contact an aftermarket harness supplier such as American Autowire or Painless Performance as they would be more likely to have a wider range of options. Sorry for the bad news.Date published: 2018-11-17
