With this kit, what will I need to provide additionally to complete this install as far as wiring/sensors/fittings/etc. for a 2006 Ram 2500 Cummins. I read on some other posts that additional wire may be needed. The only thing I bought additionally was the adapter to screw it into your transmission pan. I believe? It never hurts to have spare wire lying around. However, if needed, I just had it. I did not purchase any. Hopefully that helps a little.Date published: 2020-03-20
Are these gauges dimmable?Thank you for your inquiry. The Factory Match gauges in the 7099 are LED lit. To effect proper dimming, we advise using a 9114 dimmer: https://www.autometer.com/led-lighting-dimmer.htmlDate published: 2019-02-22
I see when I selected on the Dodge factory match gauges, the image displayed had a gauge with a black background vs the white. Do you guys offer the dodge factory match kit with a black background?Thank you for your question. I believe what you are referring to is the gauge on the left of the thumbnail. This gauge actually does have a white background, however, the picture shows the gauge in low light to show the colored back lighting. We do not offer the gauges in this series with a black background. I apologize for the misunderstandingDate published: 2019-02-22

Can you please forward me the breakdown parts list of what is included in this kit. As we have a customer who returned this items claiming one of the sending units or senders is missing??Hi there, thank you for connecting with us. While we don't necessarily have an easily decipherable or shareable breakdown, we can provide some details on what is included with regards to senders. This kit will include a 2258 Trans Temp Sender, the 5251 Pyrometer Probe/Harness, and 10 feet of nylon tubing for the boost gauge, and various fittings for each of those gauges. Without quite a bit more detail, it would be difficult to determine what may or may not be missing unless it's one of those specific items. Does your kit come with all wiring and sensors in order to install the gaugesHi there, thank you so much for the question. All sensors are included as well as tubing for the boost the gauge. You will need to provide 18-20 gauge wire for the Transmission Temp and for the lighting on the Boost Gauge. Depending on the year, there may be additional items that would assist in installation. Here is a link to an install we did on a 2008 that should provide some additional details and guidance: https://www.autometer.com/resources/index/guide_view/id/7 If you have any additional questions I would recommend reaching out to our service team at 866.248.6356, hitting the Chat link at the top of the page or emailing us here: http://www.autometer.com/resources/index/ask_a_questionDate published: 2018-02-22
