QUESTIONS:

Is this compatible with guage and sender in kit 1650

Asked by: Andy K
If you are looking to remotely mount the pressure sensor we recommend using braided line but this can work too.

Can copper tubing be used for a mechanical boost gauge?

Asked by: Gypsyboy11
Yes, this will work as long as you don't exceed 100 psi. Wich would be pretty interesting for boost.

My oil pressure gauge "Sport Comp" uses the 1/8" copper tube and leaked until I re-cut and replaced the compression fitting. Is there an advantage to the nylon or stainless steel lines?

Asked by: 440-6
Hello, Thank you for your question. The real difference between the two is our copper tubing is more heat resistant along with not being able to kink the line.

I have a copper tubing kit for my oil pressure gauge "Sport Comp". I'm leaking oil at the engine fitting. Is the 1/8" rubber grommet a potential failure point and replaceable? Will 3224 Copper Tubing Kit be required? Does it include fitting to the gauge?

Asked by: 440-6
Thank you for your inquiry. The rubber grommet is to prevent damage to the line where it passes through the firewall. The 3224 kit is complete, and will mate up to the fitting on the back of your Sport Comp gauge.

Who is the manufacture of this product? We are exporting to Canada for 1 of our customers, and our broker is requesting the information for export documentation. Thanks, Randy

Hi Randy, the 3224 Copper Tubing Kit is of U.S. origin. That should be all the info required for customs documentation.
