Since 1957, AutoMeter has set the standard in performance, accuracy and durability with their legendary Tachometers. The absolute pinnacle of engineering and technology, it’s no wonder AutoMeter can lay claim to more motorsports victories than every other gauge manufacturer combined. The patented air core meter movement, wound in house to exacting standards, can move the needle from 0 - 11,000 rpm in 333 milliseconds. Does this Tach (6801) have a shift light connection? If yes, what lights are compatible? If no, is there a way to wire one in?Thank you for your inquiry. The 6801 does not have a shift light harness, and cannot support operation of a shift light.Date published: 2020-02-06
What is the dash cutout hole diameter?Thank you for the question. The 6801 has a "step-down" case and will include in-dash mounting hardware for mounting into a 3-3/8" diameter. The 6801 does feature an additional area behind the bezel that would also allow for a more flush mounting up to the bezel in a 4-5/8" diameter hole, but that would require some customization on how the instrument would actually be held into that larger hole. The instructions will show a representation of that step down case: https://www.autometer.com/media/manual/2650-1142.pdfDate published: 2020-01-24
