QUESTIONS:
Is this internally regulated? By that I mean, will the reading vary slightly if my battery voltage is 11.5V or 13.5V? I can easily purchase and install a 12V buck/boost regulator to power this, but if the gauge is internally regulated this wont be reqd.
There is no need for external regulation. It's an air-core electrical meter designed to function on a normal operating temperature of 10-16V.

Purchased this oil pressure gauge a couple months and just getting around to installing it. Finished and hit ignition and the needle pegged to the far right and stayed there. Did I short something when installing or maybe a bad gauge? Thanks for a reply.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately you are not able to buy the gauge by itself. They are only sold as a kit.

will this work on a 1990 Jeep YJ 4.2l 6 cyl?
Hi Gerson, thank you for the question. Our instruments are considered universal and not vehicle specific, so this should work on your 1990 Jeep, but not as a direct OEM replacement. It is designed to mount into a 2-5/8" hole or 2-5/8" accessory like a cup or panel.
