I purchased the 4347 oil temp kit, I need a metric adapter, M14x 1.50mm male to 1/8NPT female. I see your product #2267 is the one. My question is; will the hole beyond the 1/8 NPT thread allow the sensor (that came with the 4347 meter kit) through it?
Thank you for your question. The sensor will not fully extend past the threads, but it is designed to be used with our sensor and will give an equally accurate reading.

Hello, What should this adapter be torqued to? And, is thread sealant recommended for the M14 piece that is going into the block? Thanks, Jeff
There is no torque spec for this fitting. Snug until the crush ring is flat. slightly more if leakage appears. No sealant, the crush ring creates the seal.

Hi, how are you? I wanted to know if it can be used as a stopper to drain the oil? and place the temperature sensor .. thanks
Hi Fabian, thank you so much for contacting us. As this adapter is brass, we do not recommend using it on something that will be regularly serviced like a drain plug. It is meant for semi permanent installations only. Hope this helps!
