The description states:"•Installs in seconds - Simply plug into the vehicle’s OBDII port •True plug and play functionality ", then why do the install instructions show wiring and a wiring harness is included? That's NOT plug and playThank you for your question. Since the gauge is not powered by an internal battery, it needs to be connected to a 12v power source and ground in order to operate. The wire harness included has a lead for power, ground, and lighting. I apologize if our definition of Plug and Play was misleading, but we use it to refer to simply plugging in a wire harness and attaching a unit to your OBD-II port rather than drilling a hole in your firewall, installing a sensor into your engine somewhere and then running wires/tubing from the sensor to the gauge.
