Gauge face is nice and big, even though it’s the smaller 2-1/16” size. However, the illumination is not very bright during the day. Pictures make it look like it will be nice and bright, and it is at night. However, and I’m not sure if this is because of the smoked lens, but when in the sun the lighting gets washed out, making it difficult to get a quick glance. Gave a four star rating due to the illumination. Otherwise, great gauge, as all Autometer products.
