will a shift light plug right into this tach and mount directly to it?

Hello,
A shift light can be adapted to the back of the unit as there is a plug there for it. You can mount the shift light however you would like at that point. If you would like to mount it on the gauge you simply have to undo the shock strap to mount it.

I want to machined a mount that directly surrounds the body of the tach and clamps the tach with clamping screws on either side of the mount. Can you send me a direct side picture of this tach so I can compensate my design? Any other pics? great!

Hello! 19266 has a “step down” case/cup that is 4-5/8” directly behind the bezel then that steps down to a 3/8” cup.
