QUESTIONS:
I would like to see a side view of this tach. Is the other end basically enclosed with 4 wires coming out? And if my engine is a single cylinder I need to cut the brown wire? That is the tach I am looking for. Thanks

If you reference https://www.autometer.com/pub/media/manual/2650-1165.pdf you will see that the calibration is two tabs in the light hole. You would need to make sure that both are down to calibrate it to a single Cylinder.

HOW ARE THE TACHOMETER MEASURED ACROSS THE FACE OR FROM THE HOUSING
Asked by: SKIPPY
The majority of our units are measured by the housing of the gauge so the hole size needed for mounting.

The installation instructions don’t say that this tachometer work with a 2 cylinder engine. Will this work on my 2 cylinder Harley Davidson

Will this tach need special calibration to work on the 4 cylinder Honda CB 750 SOHC engines from 1969-1978 with Dyna ignition ?
