Thank you for your inquiry. This product is officially licensed by Chrysler for us to build. There is no Chevy version of this tachometer.

Two question: 1. where was this tachometer made? 2. Is this compatible with the Chrysler electronic ignition on a 1972 Road Runner 440? Nice job by the way on the graphics of the tach and the other Mopar Vintage gauges.

Asked by: TomW
Thank you for your question. These are made here in Sycamore, IL. The tachometer is also compatible with the electronic ignition system in your vehicle which should be no issue for installation. For further assistance please call our tech line at 866-248-6357.

If I ordered the Mopar 3-3/4" short sweep mountable tachometer, what harness do I need? Does it come with a harness?

Asked by: Jake1983
Thank you for your question. The tachometer does not use a wire harness, it has wire leads coming off the back of it. You just need to run those leads to the appropriate locations for your application. You can add additional wire to lengthen those leads if necessary.

can it mount on steering column?

Asked by: dodge boy
Thank you for your question. While none of our gauges are made for vehicle specific installations, our pedestal mounted tachs, such as this one, are very commonly mounted on the steering column. You can use a hole clamp, glue, or drill screws to hold the pedestal on the column.
