Is the wideband sensor a LSU 4.9?

Thank you for your question. Yes, our 5316 pro plus sensor is a Bosch LSU 4.9. Our part #2243 is a Bosch LSU 4.2.

Is this backwards compatible with older Autometer widebands. I have a Sport-comp WB gauge thats about 5-6 years old that needs a new sensor due to a turbo oil seal failure.

Thank you so much for contacting us. The older AutoMeter Widebands will use the 2243 sensor which you can see here: https://www.autometer.com/sensor-for-wideband-air-fuel-ratio-gauges.html The new sensor from the Pro Plus is unfortunately not backwards compatible. Hope this helps!
