AutoMeter’s remarkable DashControl™ utilizes your vehicle’s factory display(s) to provide performance information without modification. Available for certain vehicles with a Driver Information Center (DIC), DashControl™ plugs into the OBDII port and “hijacks” these displays, allowing you to monitor parameters from the vehicle’s data bus. Customize the display pages to display what you want, where you want it. Because there is no modification to any of the vehicle’s computer systems, it’s 100% warranty friendly and reversible simply by unplugging the device. It’s the easiest, most integrated solution for gauges yet, and takes only seconds to install.

DashControl™ offers customizable alerts as well. Water temp getting too hot or oil pressure dropping? DashControl™ can activate your factory warning chime and display an alert in the DIC at any value you set. Customization is incredibly easy using our intuitive configuration software. Better still, the system is expandable to add up to two additional analog inputs for parameters not monitored by your vehicle’s computer systems.

Feature Points

  • Take control of your vehicle instruments to unlock hidden performance info!
  • Display missing data your vehicle computer already knows - AFR, boost, temps, pressures, HP/TQ and more!
  • Your data, the way you want to see it - fully customize layouts with free DashControl software!
  • Improve on factory performance alerts by programming on screen text messages for alarm points and combine with a trigger to activate the vehicle's audible chimes for a fine tuned display that's specific to your driver displays.
  • Add up to two additional analog sensor inputs for those couple additional engine parameters you may want to see that are not readily available on the factory CANbus network.
  • Great alternative to add-on instruments and displays, that won't affect the vehicle's interior appearance (or attract thieves) while keeping the driver's line of sight clear and dash space open. Ideal for 'sleeper' projects and track days!
  • 100% warranty friendly - Completely reversible by simply unplugging the module from the vehicle.
  • Supported Display Control: DIC, HUD
  • bvseo_sdk, p_sdk, 3.2.1

Will the Dashlogic software for the Camaro work with Windows 10?

Asked by: Merrell
Hi Merrell, thank you for the question. We're not aware of any incompatibilities with Windows 10. There is a link to download the DashControl software within the Description of the DashControl. It's a free download and we'd always recommend downloading it and giving it a try. There is limited functionality without DashControl connected, but you can at least make sure the program opens up.

Is there any support for this anymore? firmware upgrade that actually work? sure isn't any at palmer figured I try here also.

Asked by: Jay P
Hi Jay, thank you for reaching out to us. Our DashControl for the '05-13 Corvette has been shipping with the same firmware since we first began shipping it in 2015. If you're having a specific problem, please send us an email here with details: https://www.autometer.com/contacts

If I use the Autometer DashControl (DL1010U) on my 2005 Corvette, will I lose the functionality of the GM displays on the DIC and HUD? Can I toggle between factory displays and DashControl Displays without disconnecting the DashControl module?

Asked by: JaimeVrod
Thank you for your question. Dash control is also sold as Dash logic through our sister company Palmer Performance. Here is a youtube video showing what the display will look like on your corvette: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhUYWKULyoo It will replace your factory display while plugged in and will have to be unplugged to show the factory display.

Is there an in depth manual about this product. All I find is the quick start sheet.

Asked by: Bahb
Thank you for the question. The DashControl is also sold under the DashLogic through our sister company Palmer Performance. You can find a more in-depth instruction on their site here: https://www.palmerperformance.com/download/docs/DashLogic_Configuration_Guide.pdf

Is there any way to adjust the RPM at which the NPP exhaust will open/close in the "Standard" mode? For instance, I'd like to be able to have it open and close on its own, but have it open at 2000rpm instead of the 3000-3500 that is from the factory.

Asked by: Terry
Hi Terry, thank you for connecting with us. Our DashControl simply allows you to monitor existing parameters. There are no "tuning" functions or the ability to change any of your factory parameters.

Product # DL1010U: Does this product come preloaded with the described displays or does one have to load via connection to PC? Will parameters be able to be displayed via the factory navigation/info screen in the dashboard?

Asked by: Schube
Hi there, thank you for connecting with us. You will have to download the software and set up the parameters you want to see. You can download the software now, but to set anything up, the DashControl will need to be connected to your PC through the USB connector. This specific model and application will show the desired parameter in the Driver Information Center and the HUD.
