AutoMeter’s remarkable DashControl™ utilizes your vehicle’s factory display(s) to provide performance information without modification. Available for certain vehicles with a Driver Information Center (DIC), DashControl™ plugs into the OBDII port and “hijacks” these displays, allowing you to monitor parameters from the vehicle’s data bus. Customize the display pages to display what you want, where you want it. Because there is no modification to any of the vehicle’s computer systems, it’s 100% warranty friendly and reversible simply by unplugging the device. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, however! The only thing that I can say is not showing accurate readings is the boost pressure. On vacuum it shows double-digits accurately, however; when I go into boost it only shows single-digit and it will only go as high as 4 psi. My mechanic said that it may be showing 14 PSI being that my true boost pressure is at 14.5 psi on the dyno.

Is this work and look the same way that GM comes on Corvette? Or what is the divverence

Will this display boost levels above 15psi on a 2016 Z06? Say you're running a procharger at 22psi... but the factory boost gauge only registers up to 15psi. Also, is the boost function displayed in center of cluster like oil temps and coolant temps?

Hi James, thank you for the question. The DashControl will only read factory info over the OBD-II. If you'd like to read boost from an aftermarket turbo, you will need to run an aftermarket sender and utilize one of the two optional auxiliary ports featured on the DashControl. Will this device record air fuel ratios to down load later? Basically to adjust later, much like we do on Dynos for more real world adjustments?

Hi Sam, thank you for the question. At this time we do not have a DashControl unit that is compatible with the 2017 and later GM models. Unfortunately, GM made a change in 2017 with the communication between the radio/navigation and the cluster and how the OBD-II pulls that data to display on the cluster. At this time we have no specific details on if or when we may have something for the 2017 and later models.

I was looking at buying a boost/vacuum gauge, would this be able to display boost/vacuum in the dash display? I don't have a z06, I have a c7 but with a aftermarket supercharger...

Thank you for connecting with us. The Corvette DashControl will work only with the 2014-2016 model Corvettes. The DashControl features 2 auxiliary outputs to add a 0-5V sender to measure something like an aftermarket turbo or supercharger. We have a few senders depending on the range, but this 0-15 psi would be the most common for boost: https://www.autometer.com/15-psi-pressure-transducer.html While the gauge end of this harness would have to be cut off, the sender side would connect to the 2245 sender and provide the leads to attach to the DashControl: https://www.autometer.com/wire-harness-full-sweep-electric-pressure-gauges.html

Is there a way to display Air/Fuel through the analog? If so can does it have an alert?

Thank you so much for contacting us. You can indeed monitor air/fuel ratio by utilizing one of the two analog inputs on the device (your vehicle is not equipped with a wideband oxygen sensor from the factory). Once that is hooked up and configured in the software, you will be able to see that value in the instrument cluster and set a warning for it. Hope this helps!
