DESCRIPTION:

Upgrade your classic Ford Mustang with an AutoMeter direct-fit Sport-Comp dash kit. This easy-to-install package includes a machined billet aluminum locator plate which nests 5 iconic Sport-Comp series gauges featuring matte black dials, bold performance artwork, high contrast fluorescent red needles, and satin silver aluminum bezels. Warm white perimeter lighting is easy on your night vision while our easy, no fab installation allows you to preserve the original interior of your classic ride.

  • Includes 3-3/8" Sport-Comp electric speedometer and 2-1/16" electric fuel level (73/10 ohm), water temperature, oil pressure, and voltmeter.
  • Kit contains universal gauge wire harness, electric speed sender, 1/8" NPT water temp & oil pressure senders with 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2" NPT adapter fittings, LED lighting dimmer, 3 optional LED indicators (2 green, 1 amber), and installation instructions.
  • Track your engine's vitals in real-time with highly responsive and accurate electric air-core gauges from AutoMeter.
  • Direct Fit gauge adapter plate replaces original instruments in 1965-1966 Ford Mustang and accommodates 5 AutoMeter gauges.
  • Machined from billet aluminum.
  • Retains factory bezel. 1965 models not equipped with Pony or GT interior option will require 5 gauge OEM trim bezel from that option pack (not included) to utilize this adapter plate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent workmanship Purchased this 5 gauge kit for my 1966 mustang to fit within the GT style bezel. Supplies and workmanship is excellent quality. A stout aluminum fixturing to support the gauges. Operates well, looks superb. The car now feels racy. Had issues with fitting this instrumentation cluster into the car. Appeared to be too thick, too cluddered. Had to remove all the gauge connectors and screw in wires to terminals. The biggest issue was the long copper posts from the individual gauges kept hitting the dash cabling and mounting hardware. There is not a lot of room there. I had to snip off about 1/2 - 3/4" off each gauge copper posting for my cluster unit to finally fit into the car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice gauge kit for 66 mustang! Just installed this kit in my 1966 Mustang Convertible and had no issues whatsoever! At least not as of yet, we have not set up the speedometer yet nor have we checked the water temp as we have not started the car yet. Gauges give an awesome modern look to the dash, I installed the gauges in a new Scott Drake Deluxe Brushed Aluminum Gauge Bezel and it all looks fantanstic. I fully recommend!
