Steel adapter with 5/8"-18UNF thread and flange for direct seal with AutoMeter mechanical oil and transmission temperature gauge probe sealing nuts. For installing AutoMeter Mechanical temperature gauge probes on applications that do not allow for drill and tap method.

I removed my temp sensor and I need to plug the hole in the pan. I have this fitting currently welded in the pan. What is the part number for a plug to seal it off?

Hi, Unfortunately we don't have a plug for this fitting. The thread size, however, is 5/8-18UNF. Thanks, Jim

Is this a aluminum or steel fitting
