will this kit work on 90 ford bronco with a e40d transmission?

Asked by: a4wdo
This gauge will work with any transmission. You will need to adapt the 1/8" NPT sender into either the trans body in a pressure port or the pan.

If i buy this gauge, will it have the fitting for a Mopar 727 Torque flight 3 speed auto trans? if not, then can you point me in the right direction. I'm getting a pro Ratchet shifter for this car an would like to add a trans gauge next to it..

Asked by: Eli Torres
Hi Eli, thank you so much for contacting us. If you've got a port on your trans pan, you should have everything you need in the package. If there is not a provision for a temp sender in the pan, it's still very easy on your transmission. There is a pressure test port on the passenger's side of the transmission case; I've attached an illustration showing the location. You can use our 2259 Shallow Depth Temp Sender with this gauge and install it directly into that port (they are both 1/8" NPT thread): Hope this helps!
