Will this work in a auto transmission in a 2000 Dodge 1500 Truck

Thank you for your question. This is a universal gauge, so if you have a port on the transmission that can accept a 5/8” -18 UNF then it will work. For most transmissions, we recommend using our electric gauges as the senders are much smaller and never have issues with installation.

Do you have metric adapters for your engine oil temperature gauge #2314. It comes with english measurement adapters. I have a 2008 Toyota Sienna with the 3.5 V6

Thank you for your inquiry. We have no metric adapters for this Auto Gage mechanical temp gauge. We advise looking at our Auto Meter electric temp gauges. We do offer some metric adapters to work with those gauges.

Could this be used as a trans temp gauge?

Yes, this gauge could be used as a trans temp gauge. Your only limitation would be the length of capillary tubing. This gauge comes with 6ft and most transmission temp gauges ship with 8ft.
