In some photos of this gauge , it shows the pointer needle as being the color red. Plus it offers over temp warning and a output wire for an auxiliary item. perfect.My gauge does not have a red pointer.It is a translucent color , almost a clear white. I wanted red for more contrast and easy to read at a glance
