Hi, i am looking for shielded exhaust probes, do you have any probes that are shielded so i dont burn the tips off?

Asked by: mitch fe
Hi Mitch, thank you for connecting with us. This is a closed tip probe, which will offer a greater lifespan than an open tip probe.

will this work with auto meter 4345 pyrometer?

Asked by: dollyo11
Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, this is the probe for the 4345 Pyrometer. If you are missing the probe completely, some newer style gauges will also require this harness: https://www.autometer.com/egt-wire-harness-forr-incandescent-lit-digital-stepper-motor-gauges.html If your 4345 has a small red and black wire for power and the probe connects to 2 bolts on the back of the gauge, 5249 is all you'll need. The newer style utilizes a 10 pin connector at the back of the gauge for all wiring. This newer style would require this 5297 Harness in addition to the probe: https://www.autometer.com/egt-wire-harness-forr-incandescent-lit-digital-stepper-motor-gauges.html

Hello is this the probe that matches pyrometer gauge 3344-m? Cheers Ashley Jackson

Asked by: Plasticjacko
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for contacting us. This is exactly the probe you'll need for your 3344-M pyrometer. As an aside, I would avoid condemning a probe without first checking the ground on your gauge. The probes tend to be pretty robust. If the gauge is not grounded directly to the engine, I would highly recommend doing so first. 99% of pyrometer issues have to do with poor grounds, such as using a location inside the vehicle or the battery. Hope this helps!

Will this kit work with the sport comp 2 2000* gauge

Asked by: Cowboy
Thank you so much for contacting us. A Sport Comp II pyrometer will use the 5251 probe, which you can see here: http://www.autometer.com/replacement-probe-harness-assy-for-full-sweep-elec-stepper-pyrometer.html Hope this helps!
