Have a Pro Comp 6602 Tach connected to a Vertex Mag I am upgrading to an External Coil Vertex can I use this same Tacho or what would be required to run this tacho or can you suggest a current modelThank you for your question. Unfortunately, your tach will not work on an external coil vertex and we do not offer any tachometer that are compatible with vertex magneto's.Date published: 2019-05-30
I have an Autometer 5306 Pro Control for a magneto. The unit is good other than the inductive trigger has stopped picking up the RPM signal. Will the #5210 Inductive RPM trigger work as a replacement? Thanks, Dan Hi Dan, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the 5210 is the exact model inductive pick-up that we include with the 5306 Pro Control.Date published: 2018-03-06
WHAT TACHOMETER CAN I USE WITH AN MSD MAG 44 SYSTEM, THE POINTS BOX HAS A SPOT TO PLUG A TACH INTO IT, ID RATHER GET A 5" TACH FACE, I HAVE A SPARE TACH I USED WITH MY MALLORY SUPER MAG 4 WITH THE INDUCTIVE PICK UP THAT YOU RUN THE WIRE THREW.Thank you so much for connecting with us. A few of the MSD devices for the Pro Mag, such as the Timing Control Module and Power Grid, provide a standard tachometer output that will trigger most of our tachometers. Our Magneto Signal Converter, model 9118, will also allow you to hook a standard/electronic ignition tachometer to the MSD Pro Mag.
