Ronald “Blaze” Blazekovich has owned his Cutlass 442 since he returned home from Vietnam in 1967. He and his wife even went on their honeymoon in this car fifty-two years ago! From 2000 to 2001, he did a frame-off restoration, which is when he made the dashboard and installed his AutoMeter gauges. The body and paint work was completed by Bob Cardwell at Joliet Collision and the engine was rebuilt by his son, Ron Jr. The engine was then painted by his son, Scott.
Today, he resides in Minooka, Illinois. He belongs to the Illinois Valley Oldsmobile Club and is president of the Coachmen Car Club.
