Hello, my tr trigger probe wires came off probe , invoive# 287516 , part# 105-9112 purchased 3/5/18, trigger probe wires came off probe, will warranty cover this or do I need to buy new, I bought through Jegs but they want $105.00 and return, thank youI had the same thing happen. I ordered a replacement coil from auto meter and whilst waiting for delivery I was able to repair the broken wire with a bit of digging and soldering. The replacement coil from auto meter cost 50$ in march 2018. I'm still carrying it as a spare.Date published: 2019-01-09
How can I reset my 5315 ? Could you e-mail me the manual of these product ? I bought but I lost the instructions !! The motor need to be on 1000 rpm , because my engine is a diesel and it "stays" around 500 to 600 rpm !?I cannot address your specific installation however it has been my experience having replaced my alternator twice and the Diesel Tach/Adapt once that the placement of the adapter is very critical. A mm or two one way or the other makes the difference. Regards, ajoDate published: 2018-03-16
Will this work on my 83 chevy with the 6.2 diesel Hi Brandon, thank you so much for contacting us. This pickup is designed to be used with one of our diesel tachs, which are compatible with your 6.2L: http://www.autometer.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=2-5%2F8%22+pedestal+tachometer+diesel#1&profile=products It should be noted that this is a replacement piece and is already included with those tachs. Hope this helps!Date published: 2017-11-27
I already have a brand new VDO tacho. We have had nothing but trouble taking a direct feed from the regulator on the alternator, Is it possible to attach the ALTERNATOR PROBE, DIESEL TACH/ADAPT, REPLACEMENT to my existing tacho? Thanks RayHi Raymond, thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, this particular probe is only designed to work with the AutoMeter 2888 and 3788 Diesel Tachometers. I don't believe it will work correctly with a VDO unit. Sorry for the bad news.Date published: 2017-11-15
