Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised! Bought this a few weeks ago. Easy to install. Maybe the light could be brighter but it works great.

QUESTIONS:

Hi ..........Will this Autometer 2333 work with a 2003 Ford F150 XLT 4.6

Asked by: ron4949
This truck will almost certainly have a port available, but it will be a 16mm x 1.5 port that will require an electric gauge and our 2268 adapter. The 2333 will not work since it’s mechanical and features a sensor bulb and fitting that is too large for a 16mm adapter.

Does this gauge come with a black and a chrome snap on bezel ring? I'm adding this to accompany an oil gauges I already have but it has a chrome mounting bezel and a chrome gauge bezel ring. I'd like them to match. Can I buy a chrome ring separately?

Asked by: RichC
Since no one ever got around to answering my question, I'll answer my own question. Apparently these 2-1/6" gauges no longer use a snap on bezel of any kind and this one comes with a built in bezel of sorts and it is black. So, the only choice is black. No more chrome gauges anymore I guess.

Does the 2 1/16" diameter refer to the hole size or the bezel size? I currently have a non-functioning water temp gauge with a 2 1/4" outside bezel diameter. What size gauge do I need to get to fit in the same hole? Thanks!

Asked by: Wright Willys
The 2-1/16" is for the diameter of the hole size needed to install the gauge.

I just ordered a  auto gage 2333 mechanical water temp gauge. What size hole do I have to punch to go thru firewall?

Asked by: macbubba
Thank you for your inquiry. The following is from the instruction for the 2333: 2. Cut a 7⁄8" dia. hole in firewall. Place grommet on capillary tubing. A slit must be made in the grommet to accomplish this. Route sensing bulb through firewall and secure grommet in the 7⁄8" hole.

My water gage stopped working, however the other two work fine. Can I just replace the water gage instead of getting all three replaced?

Asked by: 71 chevelle
Thank you for your question. In most cases you can replace just the single gauge, but not all of them. I recommend contacting out tech support team to discuss options for your specific model number. You can contact them here: https://www.autometer.com/contacts

Hi - can the gauge be removed from the dash mount and mounted normally in a hole? Is the hardware included to do that? I only see the 2 1/16 model with a dash mount but I'm looking for a hole mount. Thanks!

Asked by: Stevo
Hi Stevo, thank you so much for contacting us. This gauge can absolutely be removed from the including mounting panel for in dash mounting. Hope this helps!
