Questions

Will this fit a 97 dodge dakota steering column?

Asked by: Alejandro
Hi Alejandro, thank you for the question. Unfortunately, the Dakota Steering Column is different from the Ram. You would have to consider a universal method such as a mounting cup. We also have a dual and single pod (models 15206 and 15207) A-pillar mount for the 1997 Dakota.

Hi, This says it will take a 2 1/16 gauge. But how deep is it?

Asked by: Gary340
Hi Gary, thank you so much for the question. These are designed to accommodate most AutoMeter gauges at a depth of approximately 2.5 inches. The mounting studs of the gauge typically protrude around 3 inches and must be trimmed in most cases to fit into a pod. There may also be some limitations with a mechanical fuel pressure gauge, due to the -4AN fitting and requirement for -4 line. However, we'd always advise against a fuel pressure inside the vehicle for safety reasons. There may also be some limitations with a mechanical temperature gauge.

Do you make this without tilt steering cut out

Asked by: Mechanic man 1
Hi there, thank you for contacting us. This is the only Steering Column Pod option we offer for the 94-02 model Dodge Ram.
