Questions

What does "air-core" mean?

Asked by: DickG
In a conventional meter movement, a tiny electrical winding produces needle rotation against a spring that returns the needle to zero. An Air-Core movement has no connection to the needle, nor is there a return spring. Instead, electronics in the meter produce a magnetic field to which the needle aligns itself. Simple, accurate, reliable.

Hi is this gauge electrical or mechanical with plastic tube Thank you

Asked by: Littleant
Thank you so much for contacting us. This gauge is electrical and utilizes a pressure sensor rather than running tubing directly to the gauge. Hope this helps!
