I need 1 1/2” gauge set for a tractor. Can the Auto Meter 2391 be exposed to the weather?Thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately these gauges are in no way weather resistant and would very likely be damaged by exposure to the elements. While they are slightly larger at 2-1/16", our Extreme Environment gauges would work perfectly in that sort of application (provided there is a 12v electrical system on the vehicle): https://www.autometer.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=extreme+environment#1&profile=products Hope this helps!Date published: 2018-04-30
Is it possible to get this three gauge set with an ammeter in place of the volt meter?Hi Dan, thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately we do not offer a 1-1/2" ammeter anywhere in our lineup. With that said, there's not a person on our tech staff that would recommend using an ammeter over a voltmeter. The information is much more useful, they can be used with alternators over 50 amps and are easy to hook up without the inherent risk of running high current through your dashboard. We do still make a couple ammeters for nostalgia projects, but the voltmeter is always a better option. Hope this helps!Date published: 2018-04-15
Hi i just purchased the 2391 triple gauge and was wondering if you guys knew what adapters i would need for a 87 toyota pickup 22rHi Addison, thank you so much for the question. While we can't say definitively, most Toyota models around that era would use our 2268 Adapter for the water temperature and the 2269 Adapter for oil pressure.Date published: 2018-03-13
Installation instructions for Autogage Model 2391says "Auto Meter wire kit no. 2214 is recommended", but cannot find that item. Has it changed or is it no longer offered?Thank you so much for contacting us. The 2214 wiring kit has indeed been discontinued. As long as you're using quality, 18 gauge or better wiring, you should have zero issues with installation. Hope this helps!Date published: 2018-02-26
