Questions

Will this work on a 1998 Nissan Frontier? My gauges quit on me.

Asked by: Jesse
Thank you for your question. These gauges are made for universal applications. You may need additional fittings or adapters for your specific application, but the gauges should certainly work.

What are the dimensions of the gauges. Would like to replace the stock factory gauges with these gauges in the cluster. 68 Chevy C20. Currently it has a mechanical oil, Ammeter gauge. The water temp is not working so I was going to modify stock cluster.

Asked by: 68 Dixie

I purchased this set last year and really like it, however, I need to relocate the water temp sensor. Is there an adapter for the sensor that can be put inline with the radiator or heater hose? Also, can you tell me the water temp sensor thread size? Thx!

Asked by: Jon S
Hi Jon, thank you for the question. The 2391 water temperature sensor is 1/8" NPT. This will thread directly into our Heater Hose Adapter. Our Radiator Hose Adapter features a 3/8" NPT port and will require model 2284 to adapt the 2391 sender.

looking for electrical gauges was referred by parts guy to use 2391 set, however i need a fuel gauge and tsch to match but csn't seem to find it on your webpage. can you help me out with this please?

Asked by: poppie
Hi Poppie, thank you for the question. There is no matching fuel level in the 1.5" AutoGage. The complimentary tachometers would be the 2300 (3-3/4") or 2305 (2-3/4"). If you were interested in an electric 3 gauge set with a matching fuel level, we'd refer you to our AutoMeter line. You'd have to purchase everything individually, then we do sell the panels separate. We have many style options in the AutoMeter line, but something comparable to the AutoGage series would be the Z-Series. If you have additional questions or would like help selecting model numbers, give us a call at 815-895-8141 or send us an email anytime here: https://www.autometer.com/contacts

Is there a smaller oil pressure sender available?

Asked by: Eriq
Hi Eriq, thank you for the question. There is not a smaller sender available. If you're experiencing a clearance issue, we would recommend remote mounting the sender, using a small length of braided stainless steel line like model 3227: https://www.autometer.com/4an-braided-stainless-line-kit-3ft.html There is also a 4' and 6' option available for braided line.
