It enables you to capitalize on AutoMeter’s years of instrumentation and data acquisition expertise so you are in control and in-the-know about what is going on with your vehicle.  It turns your Apple (iOS) or Android enabled device into an advanced display and monitoring system. From monitoring vehicle and engine performance, to tracking fuel economy levels, reading and clearing vehicle trouble codes, to managing check engine lights, the AutoMeter DashLink puts you in control.

Harness the accuracy and precision of AutoMeter gauges in an advanced hardware and software package that provides instantaneous feedback to you about how your vehicle is performing. Customize the look and feel of your virtual dashboard with an easy to use interface. Determine exactly what you want to see and how you want it displayed with the DashLink app.

Data log what your vehicle is doing, determine: 0-60, ¼ mile, horsepower, and braking performance. Map where you vehicle has been, how it performed, and how many G’s you experienced with real time track mapping. Monitor your fuel economy/MPG, see how long your vehicle has idled, how many aggressive accelerations or braking events have occurred, and how your vehicle was driven. Instantly read, diagnose and clear engine codes and clear troublesome Check Engine lights, all with the easy to use plug-n-play functionality of the DashLink system.

The AutoMeter DashLink is the most accurate, easiest to use vehicle display solution in the market.

Questions

In the GooglePlay Store, DashLink is listed as version 1.01, and was last updated in February, 2017. Is it still being supported?

Asked by: DavidW
Hi David, thank you so much for contacting us. DashLink 2.0 is currently in a private beta and will be released in the very near future. We are not only continuing to support DashLink but we have a large number of improvements planned. All existing DashLink customers will be able to upgrade to the newest version free of charge when it is released. Hope this helps!

Work on 87 mustang gt?

Asked by: Codeman
Thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, your Mustang predates the proliferation of the OBDII standard by about a decade. As such, DashLink will not work with your car. Sorry for the bad news.

Does this unit display Oil Temps and Oil Pressure?

Asked by: SwedeWorx
Thank you so much for contacting us. There isn't solid answer on this, but in most cases, probably not. DashLink can only display information that is being broadcast by the vehicle's OBDII system. Every vehicle is different, but most adhere pretty closely to the federally mandated OBDII standard (which includes neither of those parameters). Some manufacturers do include more information, just not all of them. Here's a list of everything required by law on OBDII vehicles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs Everything on that list will be measurable by DashLink if the vehicle has a properly functioning OBDII system. Hope this helps!

There seems to be conflicting data and i cannot find the android part number. Is there a seperate unit for apple and android or does the part # 6035 support both devices?

Asked by: Azsteve01
Thank you so much for your email. The 6035 DashLink (this unit) works with both Android AND iOS devices. The Android only device was released first as the Apple certification process is much more involved. This one does both flawlessly. Hope this helps!

Does this work with all iPad minis?

Asked by: Not my real name
Thank you so much for contacting us. DashLink will work with any iOS device that utilizes the current Lightning connector (see attached image). From the information we have, all generations of the iPad Mini meet that criteria. Hope this helps!

Do you have any equivalent systems for an OBD-1. I have an LT 1 out of a 1995 vette that I swapping into a 1963 C10. Love to use this product with an iPad, but I think OBD-2 came out in 1996 (although the plug on my harness appears to be an OBD ?)

Asked by: Hd-boy
Thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, there is nothing available for OBD-1 systems. The computers simply weren't sophisticated enough to provide meaningful data at any sort of usable rate. Even some early OBDII vehicles weren't all that quick. If you think about the advances in technology in your cell phone since the mid 90's to now, that's a pretty good analogy for how far our vehicle's computer systems have some. Sorry for the bad news.

I purchased a Dashlink for Android and am trying to utilize it for my 2003 GMC 2500HD Duramax. How many data points are accessible from my truck to the Application? Is there a table available?

Asked by: Fastmax
Thank you so much for contacting us. Every vehicle is different, even some of the same model year and model. As such, we're unfortunately not able to say exactly what your actual truck will be broadcasting. What you are guaranteed to be able to access is everything that is mandated by the OBDII standard, which you can see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs Hope this helps!
