Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good...When and if it works Very very temperamental in establishing a Bluetooth connection. Sometimes it connects fine...half the time requires a kabuki dance!!! I turn off everything else that is Bluetooth in the vehicle. If that doesn’t work, I shut off Bluetooth on my iPad and back on. If it doesn’t connect, I force it on the iPad. Even if it connects, half the time the app doesn’t connect. If that doesn’t work, I reboot the iPad and start over. If that doesn’t work, I unplug and plug the dongle. Throughout, I start and restart the vehicle. NUTS!!! When it works, It’s great...when it connects. Plus, I can’t get all gauges to function. I’ve played at setting it up. I need tech support but you don’t seem to be available during the hours you claim. I can’t get through live chat, either. I don’t want email roulette...I want tech support! Come on, guys!!!!!!? This isn’t my first AutoMeter product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This made me leave auto meter for good Could be better. A lot better actually. I got this because I’m an auto meter fanatic. Not anymore. I’ve since removed my auto meter products and replaced with cheap gauges that work just as good.

Will this work on a 2020 sprinter for egt, water temp, etc.

Asked by: Nesrovlah
Since we do not have all the information on that vehicle that would be something you would need to have the dongle in and test. To make sure vehicle outputs this data you will want to do a PID validation. To do this the vehicle will need to be running and once the vehicle information is put into the App you can scroll down on that selected vehicles info and select PID Validation. Once this is done you will need to go to Data Grid, select Add PID, and select All PIDs. The PIDs that are usable will have a green dot with a check mark and the ones not usable will have a red dot with a check mark.

I have a Mustang GT 2006. I need to measure the ratio of air to gasoline and boost. It works for me?

Asked by: Fran
You will be able to access the AFR readings with this but for boost you will need to do a PID validation and then you should be able to access the PID needed to view vacuum pressure.

Will this work on my 2003 Supercharged infiniti G35, boost & oil pressure & air fuel ratio

Asked by: Alex24
You will want to perform a PID validation on the vehicle to see what you can and cannot access for PIDs. There would be no other way of knowing if these PIDs would be accessible to you without doing a validation. Please keep in mind that not all vehicles come with secondary O2 sensors as many companies didn't start doing this until the late 2000's.

Could this replace the instrument panel in a 2003 crown Vic police interceptor I have modified the frame to support a 52 Ford f100 body but everything else is stock

Asked by: Rich928
It is quite possible as the DashLink will simply pull information from the PCM and ECU to display onto the App. I would recommend doing a PID validation on the vehicle before setting up your gauges though as the validation will help with accuracy along with which PIDs can be used.

I have a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro. I have two questions. is there a way to pull up a list of what functions this product will cover specifically for this car? Also can I use my Android phone and get all the same gauges and readings?

Asked by: B7 A4
Thank you for the question. You can use an Android to view the data coming from the DashLink dongle. However we do not have a list of all specific PIDs for every vehicle made. This is something you will need to validate on the app when the dongle is connected to the vehicle running. Once validated you can go into Data Grid, Add PIDs, and select ALL PIDs. You will be able to see what is available in Data Grids PID selection with the PID having a GREEN dot and the ones that are not available will have a RED dot.
