Embedded Design Engineer

Description:
As an Embedded Design Electrical Engineer, you will work with a team of enthusiastic engineers who are passionate about producing high quality products that customers enjoy.  
Key responsibilities and scope of work include:
•    Create circuit designs, schematics, bill of materials, and circuit layout.
•    Develop embedded firmware on ARM Processors (primarily Cortex-M).
•    Develop serial and wireless communication protocols.
•    Create technical specifications from functional requirements.
•    Collaborate and take ownership with other developers to improve software and hardware quality.
•    Collect and process sensor data for use in instrumentation and control systems.
•    Lead application engineering effort from planning architecture to execution and delivery.
•    Design and implement scalable software architectures for hardware platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•    At least BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent (EE) degree. A Master's Degree is preferred.
•    10+ years of relevant work experience, which includes developing on embedded ARM systems, implementation/utilization of debug tools, use of software version control in a team.
•    Fluency in C/C++/Java and other object oriented programming languages.
•    Fluency in schematic capture software and PCB layout software.
•    Working knowledge of embedded software, operating systems, interrupt handling and communication drivers.
•    Experience with vehicle OBDII/CAN Technology.
•    Experience with embedded ARM RTOS (is a plus).
•    Experience with Linux/Windows programming (is a plus).  
•    Work well in a highly collaborative team environment.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.  
•    Meet deadlines on individual tasks.
•    Happy taking ownership of issues and working towards completion.

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our team of enthusiastic engineers who are passionate about producing high quality products that customers enjoy. As a Hardware Engineer, you will take part in multiple hardware design projects in all aspects of the product development cycle: concept, design, development, implementation, support, and evolution of our products. Projects include (and not limited to): new product development of various display and instrumentation devices as well as sustaining and updating current product lines (e.g. DashLink, LCD Competition Dash).

Key responsibilities and scope of work include:
• Create circuit designs, schematics, bill of materials, and manage circuit board design using outside layout houses.
• Create technical specifications from functional requirements.
• Collaborate and take ownership with other developers to improve software and hardware quality.
• Collect and process sensor data for use in instrumentation and control systems.
• Lead application engineering effort from architecture to execution and delivery.
• Create internal drawings for draftsmen to work on.
• Create testing procedures and recommendations for the manufacturers. Interface analog & digital circuits to microcontroller I/O.

More about you:
• At least BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent (EE) degree. A Master's Degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience, which includes developing analog and digital circuits to microprocessors.
• Fluency in schematic capture software and PCB layout software.

Firmware Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware on ARM Processors (primarily Cortex-M).
• Develop serial and wireless communication protocols.
• Create technical specifications from functional requirements.
• Defect investigation and debug in existing codes
• Develop test plans for the lab and any external testing needs for environmental, mechanical, and electromagnetic requirements
• Collaborate and take ownership with other developers to improve software and hardware quality.
• Collect and process sensor data for use in instrumentation and control systems.
• Design and implement scalable software architectures for hardware platforms.

More about you:

Senior Repair Technician

About the position:
Familiarity with electro mechanical assembly
Trouble shooting to the subassembly level
Soldering/De-soldering skills
Troubleshooting skills to evaluate and estimate customer costs for the repair of analyzers
Knowledge of electronics to service and calibrate customer approved repairs
Solid communication skill
Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Customer Service Representative

About the position:
This position is responsible for Call Center phone duties, data entry and office support.  Essential duties and responsibilities include: 

• Handle incoming phone calls from customers, distributors and representatives
• Take and process phone orders, using manual systems and various websites (includes credit card payment processing)
• Key in orders using the QAD system
• Handle Repair Service calls for repair approval and payment processing
• Answer Repair customer status inquiries
• Process RGA’s requested by customers/reps/sales staff
• Process RMA’s requested by customers/reps/sales staff
• Process customer/rep requests for decals, literature
• Contact customers to resolve order/repair questions, respond to inquiries. 

More about you:
• Prior Customer Service experience with an emphasis on customer phone contact a plus, but will train the right candidate.
• Ideal candidate will have strong telephone communication capability and ability to respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and other software.
