Maintenance Technician

Description:
AutoMeter Products is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician, who will under direction, perform all maintenance functions, including but not limited to daily preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of machinery and emergency maintenance on all equipment throughout the plant. Position includes light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment and any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy and efficient facility. Position will document results through completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required and will also perform other related duties as required or requested including outside maintenance. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.  Full time position with excellent benefits.



IT Support Technician

Description:
The position reports to the Director of Information Technology.  Daily tasks include maintaining office equipment, telephones for office staff and support manufacturing PC systems.  There will be opportunities to develop skills with office productivity software, scripting tools and computer network.

Experience:
A successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the computer hardware and software for the Windows platform.  They must have troubleshooting skills and an aptitude for working with common tools used in performing computer repairs.  A friendly, courteous and professional demeanor, must be maintained at all times, as they will be working in an office environment.

Requirements:
• Understanding of computer hardware and software for Windows/ Mac/ and Linux systems.
• Experience with command line utilities and scripting
• Experience with FileMaker Pro or similar DB languages
• Background in electronics troubleshooting
• Ability to perform physical tasks and climb ladders
• Work day start at 7am to support manufacturing startup

Education / Certification:  Associate’s degree in Science, A+ Certification or related discipline.



IT Senior Developer / Full-Stack

Description: 
Full-stack web development programmer for creating and maintaining custom web applications.  Translate customer requirements and design into mockups and working demonstrations.  Provide estimates and determine scope of project design. The position reports to the Director of Information Technology. 

Requirements:
• Writing and understanding PHP, JavaScript and AJAX
• Solid understanding of back-end stacks such as LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP), with emphasis on SLIM
• Database technologies like MySQL, and MongoDB
• REST API design
• Experience with unit testing
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, and mobile browsers
• CSS preprocessors
• GIT version control workflow experience
• Minimum of 5 years of programming experience

Embedded Development Engineer

Leading automotive instrumentation manufacturer is seeking a results driven, detail orientated, hands on candidate for embedded engineering product design. Candidate must have strong project and time management skills.

Description
The Embedded Development Engineer is responsible for the design and development of hardware platforms and embedded applications. The focus of this position includes creation of technical specifications, analog and digital circuit designs, application firmware design and development, and support for manufacturing and regulatory approval.  This position will be involved with design decisions from concept through production and supports manufacturing test, product development, and hardware development members of a cross functional team throughout a product life cycle.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Create circuit designs, schematics, bill of materials, and manage circuit layout.
Develop embedded firmware on ARM Processors (primarily Cortex-M).
Develop serial and wireless communication protocols.
Create technical specifications from functional requirements.
Collaborate and take ownership with other developers to improve software and hardware quality.
Collect and process sensor data for use in instrumentation and control systems.
Lead application engineering effort from planning architecture to execution and delivery.
Design and implement scalable software architectures for hardware platforms.

Requirements:                                                  
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (EE) degree.
5+ years of relevant work experience, which includes developing on embedded ARM systems, implementation/utilization of debug tools, use of software version control in a team.
Fluency in C/C++/Java and other object oriented programming languages.
Fluency in schematic capture software and PCB layout software.
Working knowledge of embedded software, operating systems, interrupt handling and communication drivers.
Experience with vehicle OBDII/CAN Technology is desired.
Experience with embedded ARM RTOS is a plus.
Experience with Linux/Windows programming is a plus.
