Bronze bourdon tube 270° sweep movement
Mechanical gauges do not require 12V power to operate. They make direct physical contact with the item they are reading. They do this through tubing or lines, which eliminates the need for electric signals.
Ideal for vehicles that operate on voltages other than 12V, with no voltage at all (magneto applications) or operate on a battery with no generator.

Will this work with a regular vehicle electrical system. I see its made specially for non-12V. I like the look of this with the white numbers and needle but would be buying for a 2018 F-150 2.7 Thanks

Thank you for your question. This will work no problem as the unit is mechanical so the only power needed is for the lighting.

Stack ST3112  Boost gauge : Is the LED lighting white? Is it built into the gauge, or is it an LED bulb that can be changed out for a different one?

Thank you for your question. This gauge has white LEDs built into the circuit board that will shine through the dial and pointer as white illumination.
