I'm trying to compare two different tachometers if you could explain to me the difference of the two      6897----6888

6897 has these features not included on the 6888: Available wideband channel allows you to expand the Ultimate DL to additionally record air/fuel ratio during your run. Playback the air/fuel ratio on the tachometer or download into DataPro to further analyze the data. Have you guys looked at the instructions for this tach. They only discuss how to mount the driveshaft sensor and how to go thru the menu's. No info at all on wire ID for 12v power/ rpm input etc.!!

Good afternoon. I would be grateful if you could send me additional information about this product. I need it for a professional Sim Racing. What accessories can be added and what do I need for perfect operation on the Sim? I also hear your suggestion

Asked by: Juan pablo
Thank you for your inquiry. The 6888 requires a 12 volt DC power source, and a signal that is a 12 volt DC square wave at 4 pulses per crankshaft revolution. You would need to replicate this to operate the tachometer on your Sim racer.
