How do you program this tach model# 233911 its does not have a recall button its got shift-set that's allThank you so much for contacting us. You are correct, this unit does not have a recall function, only sift light. To program the shift light point, you'll want your key on but the engine off. Then you can manipulate the knob to move the needle to the RPM you want the light to come on at. Once that's done, simply start the vehicle. on jegs high performance web site . they say the autogage tach 233911 needs the msd 8920 adapter . why is this ? I am using msd billet distributor and 7al 2 box . thank you !MSD has a different tach output than what you'd see on a typical ignition system. As such, they have a tach adapter they recommend using for an Auto Gage tach. It's worth mentioning that AutoMeter branded tachs will not need any sort of adapter to work with MSD components.Date published: 2017-11-07
