do you sell a column mounting for this tach?
Hello! We do not have a steering column mount for 5" in-dash gauges. A pedestal tachometer might be more similar to what you are looking for.

Will this work on a 1998.5 5.9l 24valve diesel?

can this be supplyed with fly wheel pick up for a diesel engine eg 6.5 chevy
Thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately we do not offer any sort of flywheel pickup or tachs that are compatible with such a device. We do however make a diesel tach adapter that will read the rotation of your alternator. It's considerably easier to work with and works even at high rpm:
