Mounting on a 2002 Harley Davidson STDIJust installed the Auto Meter 19300 on my 2002 HD STDI with mini ape hangers. The mounting cost about $60.00. Two of the Turning House 1 1/4 inch bar clamps $12.00, Galvanized steel flat bar 1 in wide x 1/8 in thick x what ever length, I used 7 1/2 inches of the flat bar $6.00, the Auto Meter 19243 tachometer mount. I made a paper mock-up of the flat bar which allowed me to use the 1 in flat bar, carefully drilled the mounting holes for the bar clamps and the Auto Meter tach mount, 5/16 bolts, washer and nuts to attach flat bar, every thing painted, check the pictures.
Does this come with a water resistant case and how can I mount it to the 1” handlebar on my Harley Sportster?

Hi Randy, thank you so much for contacting us. This tach is indeed water resistant. For mounting, we've had very good luck with the mounts available through Yankee Engineuity and Cycle Performance. Here's a couple of links to check out:

I am building a 1946 ford woody with a rough supercharged motor. The colors of the dial are close to the OEM instruments on the dash. Will the # 19300 tach work with the electronics for the car?
