Does this gauge have outputs for a shift light ?Thank you for your question. 5897 does not have outputs for a shift light, this is typical with our in-dash tachometers. If you wanted to pair a shift light with an in-dash tachometer, you can use a stand-alone shift light such as #5343.Date published: 2018-09-21
Hi. I have a 69firebird with an LT1 engine. And there is Phantom tachometer. But it allways stays on 1000rpm. Even when it is disconected. What is wrong here? Any idea if this tachometer can be hooked up to a V-10 motor out of a dodge viper? If it can, what all additional accessories should I purchase to make it work?Thank you so much for contacting us. Some would require the use of a 9117 tach adapter (https://www.autometer.com/tach-adapter.html) while some would require the tach to be sent into our shop to have a custom cylinder calibration programmed into the tach.
