Can I make this work on my 2009 harley?

Asked by: Millartime
Thank you for your inquiry. This tachometer will not work on a V Twin. Check the Pro Cycle section of our website for options that will work on your Harley.

Can this tach be mounted in a dash panel? If not do you produce a 2-5/8 dash panel tach.

Asked by: CJMotor
Thank you for your inquiry. We don't offer a 2-5/8" in-dash tachometer. This tach has no in-dash mounting option. That said, you could certainly mount it in-dash by fabricating your own mounting solution.

How is the 66.7 mm measured? Mahalo

Asked by: Gangrene
Thank you for your question. This is measured from the back of the gauge if you are looking to install this inside a dash instead of using the pedestal mount.

Will this work on a 1998 ford f150 v6 4.2l. I have had trouble with other tachs in the past. The truck does not come factory with a tachometer this is why I am trying to install one.

Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question. We do not have vehicle specific installation data but our tachs are made to work on a very wide variety of applications. I see no reason why it wouldn't work for your application.

Hi, I am running a Pertronix D1200 HEI style distributor in my Pontiac will the 3708 work fine off the tach pickup on this distributor? thankyou

Asked by: Bustling Barry
Thank you for your inquiry. Our tachometers are designed to work well on most OEM and aftermarket ignitions. While we cannot foresee individual issues, we expect the tach to work with your Pertronix ignition.

I have a 1957 Chevy and would like to mount this tach in the dash cluster where the stock water temp gauge is now. To do this, I would have to remove the large round holder that holds the glass face on and replace it with a smaller diameter ring.

Asked by: MrP57
Thank you for your question. This is not possible. Removing the bezel and glass would void the warranty and there is also no smaller version available.

Does this guage fit a diesel engine? And does it have calibration setting?

Asked by: Rocket
Thank you for your question. This tach will not work on a diesel engine by itself. You will need to use this tach with our diesel tach adapter #9112 to work on a diesel application.
